Pain in the right arm.

I have the belching problem too. In my case my Dr. discovered that because of the stress and panic I wasn't breathing properly. Instead of breathing from the diaphragm I was breathing shallowly from my chest---it's a type of hyperventilating and will cause belching. I also noticed the belching and heartburn was worse for about 10 days after starting an SSRI. Then it calmed down. I was so glad to read your post because I thought I was the only person with this issue and trust me I didn't grow up in a home where it was acceptable to go around belching all the time. HA!HA! :)

Rita, It is a good idea to check with your doctor. Are you on medications? Could this be a side effect? Let your doctor know what pain you are having and where. He/She will be able to better assess the situation as they know your medical and physical history. Hope this helps, Josie

I have the derealization feelings. Not too much in terms of chest pain just yet, but I have intermittant pain in the right arm & right fingers. It is not constant--but it enough to notice which sets me off into thinking it is heart related. I also find myself belching quite a bit (could be the GERD I deal with). Does anyone else ever have this? There is no other reason I know of which could cause the right arm pain. I also have a dull headache on the right side.
