Quoting Mr Ed who feels he's nearly at the end of the tunnel.... This is so great just a little way further to go.. I must say I see the light at the end of the tunnel and heading toward it, feels good, but gotta keep going strong. Stickin, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and to me it seems I am nearly at the end of the tunnel! There are some here who struggle in their quits. All the best to them and I hope they feel stronger as their quits progress I just ask that they can be happy in the fact that we are doing OK and can pass a positive message to the new quitters here thanks for your post Mr Ed :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 247 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,431 Amount Saved: 1852.5 Life Gained: Days: 41 Hrs: 7 Mins: 12 Seconds: 32

Wonderful post Stickin! I too saw the light early. I jumped right towards it, and never looked back! My dream would be for everyone to see the light. Lets all open our eyes and help those who see dim! We can all get there! ;) 4my2girls What Consumes Your Thoughts Controls Your Life My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 228 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,855 Amount Saved: $745.56 Life Gained: Days: 18 Hrs: 9 Mins: 20 Seconds: 17

Hi stickin - Good point... I maintain for the most part on auto-pilot now... and am not dealing w/some of what I read about here that other long term quitters are dealing with. We're all different... and the journey can be different as well. I feel like I'm done ... I'm Quit - AND I do take care of my Quit... an addiction doesn't go away but the cravings and triggers may... I will never "tease" my Quit or test it... not in the cards! Great thread - thanks! Great post, Pen. If we walk through life and into the Quit with a positive attitude, it will bring the Light into our Quit process... That doesn't mean we won't face some challenges. What it means is that those challenges will find their way to a calmer, more peaceful place. If we walk with a negative attitude, and see the world as something that's against us or challenging us - it will bring the same energy into our Quit. Make YOUR Quit what you want it to be - in other words, we have amazing power... Own YOUR power and bring to the Quit process all of your coping skills and reach out for support when you need it. Walking in the Light :) Healer My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 228 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,998 Amount Saved: $1060.2 Life Gained: Days: 29 Hrs: 15 Mins: 14 Seconds: 48
