This is a great idea! "Ooh-oo child, things are gonna get easier Ooh-oo child, things'll get brighter Ooh-oo child, things are gonna get easier Ooh-oo child, things'll be brighter Some day, yeah We'll put it together and we'll get it all done Some day When your head is much lighter Some day, yeah We'll walk in the rays of a beautiful sun Some day When the world is much brighter" It will be brighter... Hi Gang, Music has really helped me through a lot of rough spots. Now instead of smoking in the car I can now be found singing very loudly in the car. Now picture this, a fourty something year old lady in a van singing at the top of her lungs, with a sucker in her mouth and drumming on the steering wheel. (hee hee hee) My five year old is now asking me to stop singing. Well you know whatever works. Now back to the music. As some of you know, I have had a rough day. I was sitting here on the computer and listening to my sons CD. I have never heard it until today. Here is a verse: And though you wanna quit dont think you can't get through this you've come too far to walk away it's not gonna be today. and no mater how you feel it's what you do that matters this is your moment to be strong today's your day Superchicks It's On (you can find the words on the net) Do I believe in fate, YES. I have some more, these are current pop songs on the charts. "Hate Me Today" by Blue October (This is the nicodemon talking to you!) Hate me today, hate me tomorrow, hate me so you can finally see whats good for you Hate me today, hate me tomorrow, hate me for all the things I didnt do for you Hate me in words, in ways hard to swallow, hate me so you can finally see whats good for you "The Sweet Escape" by Gwen Stefani "If I could escape and recreate a place in my own world And I could be your favorite girl, forever, perfectly together Now tell me boy wouldnt that be sweet? If I could sweet, I know Ive been a real bad girl I didnt mean for you to get hurt, forever, we could make it better and tell me boy, wouldnt that be sweet? Also, (but I'm not gonna put the words in here, for space reasons): "Breathe (2AM)" by Anna Nalick (help for cravings!) "Keep Holding On" by Avril Lavigne Oh and "Someone Saved My Life Tonight" by Elton John "Someone saved my life tonight, sugar bear. Almost had your hooks in me, didn't you dear? You almost had me roped and tied (sorry I don't know this line) Sweet freedom whispered in my ear You're a butterfly and butterflies are free to fly so fly away, high away, bye bye" Any others? - Freemom My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/29/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 24 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 299 Amount Saved: $97.92 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 7 Mins: 22 Seconds: 17

I love music as a motivator too, when you start getting "that feeling". How about "Some People Change" by Montgomery Gentry. Good post idea.
