LOL, it happened to me too. I was real busy trying to convince someone that I do not smoke when they just pointed to my hand and there I was holding the smoking thing in my hand. I was caught red handed. I, like Nonic, beleive dreams are ways to work things out. I know I felt embarrassment and defeat strongly in the dream. In real life I don't smoke. Its nice to know I'm normal. I woke up in the middle of the night wanting to smoke, but I didn't. Lucy, This is very common among quitters and will decrease in frequency as you become more comfortable in your quit. Danielle, Bilingual Support Specialist

I dreamed I was smoking once in the first week or so, I could even taste it! It didn't taste right though and I couldn't feel the smoke slamming into my lungs the way it should. It didn't make me want to smoke though and it hasn't happened again. Lucy Dreams are good, for me they are ways of working things out before we face them in the "real" world...I like to think that they are methods of convincing ourselves of the correctness of the things we are about to do...They happen alot during smoking cessation, some of mine where full technicolor extravaganzas...Interesting and instructive st the same time... nonic My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/25/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 258 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,740 Amount Saved: $2,709.00 Life Gained: Days: 47 Hrs: 2 Mins: 23 Seconds: 36

I had a dream last night that I was smoking in my office with my coworkers. It was really weird. Is this normal to dream of this while I'm quitting? In my dream I could see the smoke! Talk about not getting away from it!
