Stickin to it, Thank you for this timely reminder. Some members have found it helpful to keep a log in the beginning of their quit as it makes it easier to see the progress you're making from day to day. Danielle, Bilingual Support Specialist

Yes Stickin! I remember the first few weeks, when that longing for a cigarette seemed constant. It "felt" like the battle was going to be lifetime long. Day by day is got less and less. I stuck it out and kept going on. I look back now and wow, I can go days and days before I think of a cigarette. They are now off the menu, out of the picture, out of my thoughts and out of my life. The Freedom sure feels great! So to all you Newbies and semi newbies, keep on going because, day by day, time goes by and it is 'so' worth the journey! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 187 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,675 Amount Saved: $1,972.85 Life Gained: Days: 22 Hrs: 20 Mins: 54 Seconds: 47

So NOPE, smoking is not an option, keep on keeping on, keep on truckin, use a multitude of distractions, keep it light, make it positive and fun, know all the good you are doing for and to yourself, know that you can, notice how the craves begin to mellow, how you have time to thing about other things, how smoking isn't always on your mind, how it becomes apparent that it is not needed, that the friend you lost it still there it you, hear the cheers from within and from family and friends, take notice that it is fading however ever subtle. Remember to remind yourself that you are a hero, you have broken free, finally, broken free. Something all of us have been wanting, along many points of our smoking careers. You got it, now keep it!
