Best wishes one more try. You can do this. Quitting is a learning experience. Keep close and read lots. I am sorry to admit this is not my first attempt at quitting with the help of this site. I tried once before (under a different user name) and then again just a few weeks ago (I lasted a grant total of four days that time! I just changed my quit date to today). So, no, this site is not new to me. But, I do know this site can be very helpful. Maybe the last time I didn't post enough....... One More Try, Is this your first time using SSC? If it is, right there is why this time is different. This is my first time using SSC and it is different from all the many other times. You will find many wonderful people here to help and when you think you need a cigarette just think about one of the inspirational stories you have read here and the urge will pass. Make this the One More LAST Try because youare never going back!!! One more try, First - your dogs are lovely! Second - this quit CAN be different than the others. Take some time to do the quit program, it may just change your thinking and let you feel better prepared. Give a shout out when you need help and read as much as you can about quitting. Today might be tough but it is SO worth it. Also, don't forget to reward yourself along the way and just take it a day at a time or a few minutes at a time if need be. Welcome to your new life! I have quit once, twice,to many times to count also :eg: I have tried about everything under the sun. What is working for me is Chantix and this site and the experience from previous quits. Never ever give up on quitting it will happen. You know the drill, read, post, drink water, walk, eat healthy and most importantly don't smoke. Hi everyone. Today is my first day.....again. Yes, I have tried quitting before. Not once, not twice, in fact too many times to count. I don't know why this time would be any different except that I should be optimistic about this quit. Perhaps I have finally learned enough to be successful. Please wish me luck!
