Ran into some useful advice and thought of sharing with u all..
List of Do's
- Eat unlimited amounts of fresh vegetables per day.
- Eat lots of fresh fruits each day, as snacks also, 3-5 servings per day (only one banana per day).
- Eat skinless poultry and plenty of fish, but only prepared broiled, baked, boiled, grilled or steamed, no sauces or butter. Use herbs for seasoning.
- Eat only whole grain carbs in the morning, whole grain muffins, bread, rice cakes, unsweetened cereal. In other words, "brown" not "white" rice and pasta and breads etc.
- Drink lots of water every single day, at least 8 eight ounce glasses per day. Egg whites only, no yolks. Limit dairy, one or two dairy daily, low fat or fat free only.
- Drink unsweetened fruit juice and unsweetened tea. Exercise regularly, at least 30 minutes, three times per day.
- Stop eating two hours before you go to sleep
P.S. : ELIMINATING SUGER Actually helps in your craving for sugar!! The more sugar you eat , the more you will need it to maintain your blood sugar level
Here are your "Don'ts":
-don't eat fat (no oils except a small amount of olive oil for cooking)
-don't skip meals (when you do, your metabolism will actually slow down not speed up!!)
-don't drink more than one cup of coffee per day
-don't eat sugar of any kind! no sugar!
-don't drink whole milk, drink skim
-don't take alcohol
-don't eat any creamed sauces or fried foods at all
-don't drink sodas (not even diet)
-don't use salt ( difficult and unnecessary in my opinion)
