Hi Hunter, Starrider, Brinat, Kelly, & David Congrats to everyone for getting through hell & heck...... Hope your "BLAH week" is going well.. This one has been full of annoying not so strong craves!!! Just nagging... Health-wise.. I feel better than I have felt in a long time... (This has actually been a 6 or 7 week quit with a few days of slips.. I changed my quit date.. after the slip) But since the original quit date, This is the first week that I have had any energy or could breath very well. I feel like a new person!!! Good luck to all and I would love to hear how you guys are making it................ Hi David :) Glad your weekend went well. Also, glad to hear you can do some of your normal activities w/o suffering too much. ;) I've been staying away from other people and situations where I might be exposed to smokers for too long. It's just easier for me right now. I don't think I could be as strong as you and sit with friends and drinks and smokers w/o going completely crazy! lol. The cigarette taste and lung pain... I haven't really had that. I have had this kind of raw feeling in my throat lately that feels similar to how I would feel after a night of smoking too much. It's a strange feeling. What are the smoking laws in Thailand? Is it possible that the taste was from second-hand smoke? Congrats on making it through your second week! Lets hope week three leads us to more normal thinking processes, huh? lol. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/25/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 16 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 480 Amount Saved: $93.60 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 10 Mins: 19 Seconds: 33

Hi Hunter, Starrider, Brinat, Kelly and Doodles, How was your week-end? This is it we are out of the Heck week!! Well done everyone - So now how do we call this week? Is there a name for it? My week-end went fine, even had a drink with some friends and teh carvings were bearable (and the gums helped of course) Surprisingly this morning I had a very very strong cigarettes taste in my mouth and bed feeling in my lung... Is anybody experiencing this as well? An hour cardio exercise helped to get rid of it but it was a surprising / disappointing... Anyway, looking forward to hearing from you and have a good night or a good Monday depending on your time zone Cheers David My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/26/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 14 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 280 Amount Saved: $840.00 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 0 Mins: 25 Seconds: 59
