Sarah, try to remember that the withdrawal symptoms, awful as they can be, are a POSITIVE thing. They are a sign that your body is beginning the healing process. The first few days are the worst, and you will feel significantly better by the weekend. Good luck to you! Thank you everyone for the great support, it gives me a little more confidence. I just officially had my last cigarette. I ripped up the rest of my pack and threw them away(that was sooo hard!!).

Hey Sarah, You've gotten great advice. The only thing I can add is to try to get excited about your new smokefree life. Don't let those other past quits get in the way of this one, this is a fresh start. Take it one cigarette and one craving at a time - you'll do fine! Welcome and congrats on making the decision and date. Plan on doing some good things for yourself the first few days. This site really helped me with all the coping plans and support from other people. It's hard, but what a wonderful feeling you will have about yourself!
