Am I dreaming or has time learned how to fly?

(((huggs))) for all my amazing friends here at SSC! Thanks for your kind words and loving support. Time continues to fly past, but I just had to stop by with a quick update. I start work tomorrow managing a warehouse and doing the shipping/recieving for a company I used to work for. It's temporary until November or December but it's perfect as it gives me time to look around for something really spectacular to do with the rest of my working life! There are some ideas floating around in my head...I'll keep you posted. I have no doubt that whatever my future holds will only be enhanced by my new freedom from nicotine. Phil...congrats on your first year of being smoke free! (((huggs))) for you and your family as you celebrate!!! Freemom, that's an invitation you know I can't resist. Boa's and parties...(((MAGIC))) Terri look at your stats, congratulations you're so close to your first year!!! You've inspired me since day one here at SSC. Mercy, we'll be celebrating our 1st year before we know it because time really does fly when you're having fun. Casey, you and all the mods are the greatest! Thanks for your patience and support for everyone here. Anna, you're amazing and your quit is amazing. I haven't heard from Rainey in a while, but I believe she's taken her whole life back and is now enjoying her family and her freedom to the fullest! Nonic. Congratulations on your quit and making history in the HOF. Your sage advice, words of wisdom and positive encouragement mean more to many of us than you could ever know. Thanks, I've mastered this quit with help from you and others like you. (((MomMom))) your support and generosity knows no bounds my friend! You've worked your quit with nothing less than ... pure MAGIC. Lainey look at you go! Your positive determination will take you far beyond the ordinary. Gen, I'm so happy to walk in freedom with you. I hope your "new" feet will take you wherever your heart desires. Alohakeia, my soul is singing loud and clear...your's sounds heavenly! JDK, I'm so impressed to see you with this last quit. Lol, people in their underware is fun, but I'm going to envision this...Kevin never smoking again! Ok...I'm off to spend the rest of my day relishing my freedom. Anyone care to join me??? :) Pat My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/28/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 190 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,600 Amount Saved: $2,660.00 Life Gained: Days: 22 Hrs: 11 Mins: 7 Seconds: 36

Lady, 6 months really feels good.....AND...YOU WEAR IT SOOOOO WELL. We are pretty close in our quits. I'm not sure what my next goal is. At 4 months I wanted 6 months so bad I could taste it. Somehow..... I keep seeing ONE YEAR in my stats. What a long way away..... Thanks for reminding me....time can and does fly. Congrats Lady on your six months! I could have written your post! A few months ago I was interviewing for a job. Yes, it is wonderful not having to worry about stinking when you arrive! There was a woman named Rainey that quit the same time that we did - do you know what happened to her? Ladycigevictor You've got that mental smoking switch firmly in the off position...Good for you, six months is a major accomplishment...I remember when you planned this, no one was more meticulous and right on point than your good self...It looks as if it has paid off big time. And you are correct, not only will looking for a job sans cigarettes be easier, you will have the additional confidence that comes from mastering a quit the way you have...I have no doubt that you will be working shortly and that the new job may well be a major improvemnent on the former... Stay well and quit nonic My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/25/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 216 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,480 Amount Saved: $1,512.00 Life Gained: Days: 39 Hrs: 10 Mins: 51 Seconds: 28
