Hey SmogsLiftin, thank you for saving me... I was near suicidal... if not for the laughs, I would have definetly sank. Thank you and everyone. As for this new site, I am loving the features, but like you can't figure out a few things. For instance, I want to see the first post in a thread first, not the last. There has to be a way to specify that. Butterfly Swimmer... oh Dear Lord, aint it sweet we made it! The Lady's Only Thread ROTLMAO... that should be bumped every once in awhile to reming new female quitters it's not all sacrifice... there are a lot of good times to be had... In the end, it's not sacrifice at all. In the end, it's saving our lives. Hey Sue, Unhooked, Mercy, Chickenoodle, Lamplighter, Audrey, Angelcapp, Josie Thanks As far as a Super Reward- I am going to Chicago to met a bunch of people, who quit drinking :8o: That's my next journey. That's the next stage. This people are hard core quitters. I am looking for a very modest level of moderation... like maybe drinking only on special occassions, holidays and such... just like smoking use to be, I can't imagine a life without drinking... Also, my son is of an age, where he is okay without me for a bit (darn teenager... babies should never grow... they'll break your heart) I have a degree in Psychology, but have always felt incomplete because I never finished my Biology degree. I left school on a huge party streak... so now I am returning at night... I want to complete myself. I want to finish what I started... oh so long ago.. Quitting Smoking opened the window to looking towards the future and thinking of these things... I don't know how, but it did. Much Love To All, Laura :p My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/17/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 366 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 13,176 Amount Saved: $2,379.00 Life Gained: Days: 33 Hrs: 1 Mins: 6 Seconds: 48

OOF, You were one of my favorite smobers. Perhaps because you were "real" to me, whereas so many others seemed beyond reality. So many on this site seemed to have their lives fully together and never seemed to crave at all. I now know that they did - they just didn't post about it. But you and I (and many others) did post about our struggles. I also know that you're relatively close to my age, which made you more real to me. What times we had back then! I'll NEVER forget the "Ladies Only" thread! :eg: Or the Smober Weekend Parties... my favorite one was the Mountain Top. We never thought we'd actually get there... but we have! Through all of your struggles, you made it through and shine so bright now! Congratulations on 1 year! I know how awesome that must feel - especially knowing that there were those who didn't think you'd make it. I felt the same way after I made it a year completely smoke free. I guess that stubborness really pays off, huh? Your spunk, attitude and fun personality that I absolutely loved from way back then has gotten you here! Congratulations on 1 year! Celebrate hard! You definitely deserve it! Crave the Quit! Great news, Out of Focus! You're a testiment to sticktoitiveness!! :) And that may be the most valuable virtue of all, where quitting smoking is concerned!
