mercy, you're right. We have to remember that cigarette smoke is poison to us & everyone around us, & who would willingly inhale poison every 1/2 hour or so & say it's a relaxing thing to do??? Junkies, that's who. Smoking stinks & it's ugly. You, on the other hand, are freakin' gorgeous! ;p My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/13/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 64 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,280 Amount Saved: $704.00 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 11 Mins: 18 Seconds: 52

smoking, quit, cigarette, quitting, smoke, nicotine, friends, healthy, poison, chemicals, support, mistake, habits, non-smoker, chances. A cigarette contains about 4000 chemicals, many of which are poisonous. Nicotine: a deadly poison Arsenic: used in rat poison Methane: a component of rocket fuel Ammonia: found in floor cleaner Cadmium: used in batteries Carbon Monoxide: part of car exhaust Formaldehyde: used to preserve body tissue Butane: lighter fluid Hydrogen Cyanide: the poison used in gas chambers Every time you inhale smoke from a cigarette, small amounts of these chemicals get into your blood through your lungs.
