Sweating and Panic

20 years ago 0 93 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Chanda, Thanks for your reply. I think the shortness of breath and the increased heartbeat that comes from physical activity contribute to my attacks too. You know, there are alot of things we can control in our lives, but unfortunately the weather is not one of them. I had alot less attacks during the winter. I have always loved summertime, being outdoors and I'm a very energetic person.(until lately) I have to get past this fear somehow and go on with my life. Samantha

Hi Samantha, I am from Dallas Tx. so I understand all about hot humid weather. My problems don't start with sweating..they start when I get short of breath.(from working out etc.) I try to walk at a nearby park but it seems like I just can't take in enough air because of the heat. Anyway sorry I can't help, but I understand. Chanda

When I'm doing any kind of physical activity that makes me start to sweat I almost always have a panic attack. I was just wondering if this happens to anyone else? This really makes it difficult for me because I live in the southern part of the United States where its always really hot and humid in the summertime. I hate this! How am I supposed to accomplish anything when I cant keep from panicking? I try to tell myself that excercising and sweating is GOOD for me but..... :confuse: Samantha
