Hi Rose - I didn't see your original post but I admire your gusto to reset your meter and jump back in. I'd have to agree that people seem to have more success when they reset their meter. I expect Butterfly's reasoning is right. I know that this is the computer world and that I would not have to tell anyone here or reset my meter if I smoked....BUT I also know that there is no way that I could do this because everybody has been so supportive to me. Sooooooooo...my meter and the people here do motivate me to keep on track.. Congrats on your strength and your conviction to keep going. rose I feel for you on this one...That meter has gotten me through a lot of difficult times...But at the end of the day it is only a set of numbers...The fact that you ceased smoking for 161 days is an established fact that cannot be changed...Those are your days just as the days ahead will also belong to you... nonic My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/25/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 202 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,060 Amount Saved: $1,414.00 Life Gained: Days: 36 Hrs: 21 Mins: 42 Seconds: 25

Rose, What a wonderful determined person you are. You are so special and loved here. I know you can do this.....and I know deep down you know it too. It's fun to keep a running meter....but it's really all about not smoking.....no matter how we achieve that. Lots of blessings Mercy My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/21/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 174 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,480 Amount Saved: $777.78 Life Gained: Days: 22 Hrs: 22 Mins: 12 Seconds: 15

Rose I am so happy you are recommitted to not smoking. I dont think it matters what you do with your meter. The important thing is to not smoke. What are your best coping strategies? I feel for you, having to go through the intial withdrawals again. Breathe, drink lots of water, pamper yourself. And, please, please, please, post and wait for replies before you smoke. We'll be here when you need us. -aloha My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 114 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,560 Amount Saved: $775.20 Life Gained: Days: 15 Hrs: 21 Mins: 42 Seconds: 23

Rose, I am so happy that you only smoked a few and put them back down! Good Luck, Rose, you've done it before, so just get out your tool box of coping skills! Remeber the deep breaths, sucking on a straw, candies, whatever it takes. You did it, so you can do it again! We're here to help too! Just dig in, shut the door on smoking and never look back! Treat it like a vow, never again, NOPE! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 130 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,250 Amount Saved: $1,371.50 Life Gained: Days: 15 Hrs: 22 Mins: 56 Seconds: 45
