Alot of people with panic disorder also have a higher incidence of GERD or IBS along with it. Perhaps you have one of these or a tad of both when your anxiety is at its highest.

Hey want to be free, stomach problems are very common in panic and anxiety. Chest tightness is also a symptom. I assume that since you're on clonazapam, you've already been diagnosed with panic disorder. Diaphramatic breathing really helps with the tightness and so does relaxation exercizes. Hope this helps you I also hate when the bad days are really bad but at least now I have good ones!!

hi everyone. today has been a bad one. started out with my upper chest hurting me. i had taken half of my clonazapam at six am but about 8:30 after symptoms of panic started to get a little touchy i took the other half. it seemed like it took forever for it to kick in. ive noticed my panic has changed. does anyone else have the stomach problems and chest tightness associated with their panic? seems like it doesnt want to go away today. dont want to take any more meds then necessary. no i have no arm pain but very uncomfortable. my stomach is very anxiety ridden and i feel like im tingling all over. cant seem to get a grip on it.
