Thanks everyone, doing better today! Don't know what I am going to do come winter time, but for now the weather is great and I can walk! John, are you doing better today? Remember each day gets a little easier and easier. You are doing so great! Keep it up! Thanks again everyone and onward to a new smoke free day! ~Valic My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/24/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 26 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 130 Amount Saved: $137.80 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 20 Mins: 53 Seconds: 8

Valic, Good for you!! What a positive approach to work through your cravings! Believe me, it gets easier each day but sometimes those cravings come out of nowhere and really blind side you. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing! Of all the techniques I used... I have to say..walking my dog works the best. Perhaps that is why I haven't put on a ton of weight. I find the walk calming. Way to go, Valic! Love that self talk:
Fresh air, not poison
And yours, too unhooked. Going to add that to my ongoing inner monologue.
Cravings are temporary, our resolve is permanent
Coulda used that yesterday..instead I got fudgisicles, creamsicles and 2 flavors of sorbet  My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 88 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,520 Amount Saved: $598.40 Life Gained: Days: 12 Hrs: 8 Mins: 18 Seconds: 30
