Could it Possibly Be???

Bobbi, It is only temporary weight! Even if it did get as high as 33 lbs, think about it, the weight won't kill you, but the smoking will! So we are better off. It does level off, and you have to give your body a chance to get accustomed to being nicotine free. You have just come off the patches, its gonna take a week or two or so for your body to adjust. Maybe you won't even gain anymore at all. Relax and keep doing what you are doing! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 97 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,425 Amount Saved: $1,023.35 Life Gained: Days: 11 Hrs: 21 Mins: 49 Seconds: 29

Bobbi here, Speaking of weight gain, the whole time I was on the 21 mg. patches, I even lost a lb. then went to 14mg. stayed about the same went to 7 mg. gained 2 lbs. now last Tuesday went off all patches and have now gained 5 lbs. is almost like every day I gain a lb. all I snack on through the day is fruit and not in abundance, then my eve. meal is healthy no fried, grilled or baked, salad, or veggie, oh so healthy, drinks only coffee or water. I still excerise, have added more walks, up to 3 a day now, half hr. each walk, what do I do now??????? looks like it could do the same thing I did the last time I smoked, 33 lbs. in 6 mo. or this time since I am older could be so much more. am so unhappy about this, and makes me angry as I am so happy about not smoking and having a pretty easy time for now, want to be happy about everything!!!!!!! :( :( :( hugs and prayers, Bobbi My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/27/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 75 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,250 Amount Saved: $187.50 Life Gained: Days: 11 Hrs: 1 Mins: 24 Seconds: 42

Could it be??? Do I dare to dream???? Is it true???? Has it actually levelled off? I sure hope so. The scale showed a loss of 2 lbs last week and stable so far this week.......Can it be????????? I may not actually end up as wide as I am tall. So hang in there people, there is reason to hope...it doesn't go on forever. But just in case, I won't do the Happy Dance till it next week. ;p My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 97 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,425 Amount Saved: $1,023.35 Life Gained: Days: 11 Hrs: 21 Mins: 10 Seconds: 44
