Hi Sue, Does DH get to do photography for a LIVING? I did sports teams, weddings, trade shows, etc. for a while, but with the big digital photo shops around that can have all 500 photos back in 3 days, it is hard to compete. It's like photography factory work, anyway. So, now I do a straight job and photography as a hobby. I have not had any problems with the quitzits, thank goodness. My main problem is my brain. I think about cigs so much. It is irritating. I really feel ,though, that now I have the committment to not have "just one" (yeah, right, sure, just one). I know where it will lead...back to the merry go round of cravings and addiction. Time will pass and we will all feel better. new me My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/26/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 15 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 360 Amount Saved: $75.00 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 4 Mins: 45 Seconds: 4

Sue, I also have noticed a big improvement in the appearance of my skin. It actually had a slight grey/yellowish cast. Now, my cheeks have a pink cast to them. It really is amazing. Are you over the 30 day slump? new me My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/26/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 15 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 360 Amount Saved: $75.00 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 3 Mins: 6 Seconds: 35

Alright! Sue and Mylast have checked in. Sue, from old threads that i have read,it is common to go through some intense times around 30 days. Many people even spoke of losing their quits around this time; also the same for about 100 days. But, once you are on the other side, it lets up. Who knows why?? Sorry to hear about your depression mylast. I am no stranger to that. I had a day where I literally woke up crying??? But, as stickin to it said, Mother time will help with alot of things. time is going to pass, let it pass smoke free. HOpefully, we will hear from some more Mayflowers today. peaceful and free! new me My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/26/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 14 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 336 Amount Saved: $70.00 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 23 Mins: 51 Seconds: 40

hello fellow Mayflowers!! doing good over here, DH and I both hit a wall at 30 days, didn't know we both had a bad craving day until we got home, (we are quitting together with Chantix), we got through it but it was odd for me ithappened at 30 days, not before not after. Some of the side affects stink, but it way better than smoking :) I have way more endurance, I can smell and tsste again, my skin looks better and I feel GREAT! How is every body else doing? First of all, thank you so much stickin to it. I did read your post on the other thread and was very encouraged by it. It really is comforting to know that the thoughts, cravings, triggers, and all around pain in the a$$ after effects of smoking eventually go away. It was very kind of you to place your post here to make sure that I saw it. Unhooked; Do I Love your shoe box lady..I laughed out loud when I first saw it. It is a definite comic relief in times of nicotine madness. Or should I say, in times of destroying the nicotine madness; whatever, you know what I mean. Where is Dee, MamaG (her picture cracked me up also), davis cup? and, I think, mylast? They were clamoring and climbing in the treehouse. Hopefully, we will hear from some of them. Until then, girl, we gotta stick together. And, stickin to it, I would love for you to be a quit buddy also. You are there, dude! You are truly free. Am still having trouble falling asleep. I got some of those over the counter sleep aids and some melatonin. I think that the over the counters make me groggy in the mornings, and I am only taking half the recommended dose. I get so exhausted after about 3 days that on the fourth night I pass out. Then, it starts all over again. It is frustrating. But, like you so wisely said, stickin, Mother time will probably take care of this also. Well, thankfully, I believe that this is the fourth night! I am wiped out. Have a peaceful nights sleep. new me My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/26/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 14 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 336 Amount Saved: $70.00 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 22 Mins: 47 Seconds: 11
