Hurray! You did it!!!!
First off, focus on how great it is that you didn't cave, you are smoke-free for a day and a half!!!! They say the nicotine is out of your body in 72 hours...you're halfway there. Hold tight, sleep if you can, as Tutti says...drink lots of water. Chew on something. I took a spoonful of nonfat yogurt or cottage cheese, ok, and peanut butter, to reward myself. And just keep reading, and posting when you feel like it. I was glued to this site for the first few days. It gave me hope that it can be done. Also, how about a movie? Or some exercise? The teariness should decrease, but if it gets too bad, maybe you should see your doctor?
