Is it cement or have I turned into a turtle?

Changing Just take it one day at a time. Baby your quit until...you start seeing that silver lining peeking out from the grey...then get moving.... yes...we all have had our share of the "I don't wanna"...do this today...or something like that...don't worry about it. We have all felt a little bit of "self-pity"...it's ok! you are doing something quite extraordinary for yourself...keep at it. Not One Puff Ever...and each hour will soon turn into a day, then a week, then a month, and then a year.... Now, about the energy...just get up and start walking...a little at a time. Make an appointment with yourself...same time every day. This is your daily reward to give yourself "some energy" believe it or not! It does work! You don't have to run a marathon, you just need a little of "me" time...to help put some fresh ideas and spark some adrenaline in your body....get moving! Just start with 5 minutes...that's all it takes to begin. auntdeb :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 77 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,888 Amount Saved: $365.75 Life Gained: Days: 10 Hrs: 16 Mins: 48 Seconds: 53

This kind of lethargy was and still is a big deal with me. It was like I was using so much energy to fight off the cravings, that I had little left for myself. Just to get through the day. It is getting better, so I can only say that this will pass too. Like everything else. Just wait it out. Okay, I am proudly into my 4th week as a non-smoker!!! I can now really understand/believe the people who kept assuring me it would get easier & better - because it definitely has! I occassionally have cravings during the day....a big change from occassionally not having cravings during the day! Anyway, I'm not complaining...just curiuos... I've had a hard time with fatigue/lack of energy over the past few weeks - a small price to pay while my body is de-toxifying & re-adjusting. I want/need to exercise and have read so many posts about people exercising everyday. The problem is, at somepoint over the past few weeks, while I was asleep or distracted, someone either filled my legs with cement or else replaced my human legs with turtle legs! It is such an effort to move/be active - I'm like a big (and getting bigger) slug! My legs feel so heavy & slow-moving and I feel just drained of energy. Anyone else feel this way and/or have any advice?
