Sorry to jump in here. Please do not alter your medication. If you are wanting to cut your medication in half (in this case you are) please contact your doctor to make sure that it is o.k. for you to do this!
As a medical RN it is your best interest to take such action.

I started out by cutting my SR dose in quarters &
then halve's without any problems. I know they say
you shouldn't, but I NEVER take a full dose of any
new med-----I always start out with just a quarter
dose & have never had a problem. Good Luck!
I was wondering if I can cut the Wellbutrin XL 150mg in half to start out with? I know it is extended release so I don't know. I have read some places it is OK. Does anyone have any experience with that?
