Thanks Tutti and Mercy, You both made me smile. I'll get through this. We'll all get through this. I'm so glad I have you to lean on. Hey Jan, You are using this for what we are supposed to. Vent away we are always here to listen (you did know we can hear you didn't you). You should be so proud of your 90 days and don't do anything foolish till I catch up to you. Have a good cry about you daughter and then make plans for the room it will keep your mind off it. Hang in there we are all in this together :p My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/21/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 23 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 476 Amount Saved: $149.5 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 7 Mins: 29 Seconds: 21

Bend my ear any ole time, Jan. I'm having a rough one today too. Actually, for the last several days I've had some horrible cravings with today being the worst so far. I'm so glad you posted that there's a blip around the 60 day mark too. Maybe that's what I'm going through right now. So, I guess I'll go through my 60 day blip while you tackle that 90 day blip. At any rate, I do understand what you're talking about. At least we both know these nasty times will pass in a few days. We'll get passed it and can't wait for those "blips" to be much further and farther between.;) Stay Strong, Tutti

Hi Jan, I am hear to listen to you vent. Vent away. Tomorrow..or the day after...who knows... you will be on the high again about your quit. Imagine not knowing the feeling! Whoa... I'm right behind ya. So... this is what I have to look forward to. Hope you are there when I logg on at my 90 days!! Hang in there. Do something tonight to avoid thinking about it. Pull out a movie and escape. Also just got the news today that my daughter and her fiance have decided to move in together. She'll be 26 soon, and yes, even though she's an adult, this is our first to leave home. Even though I'm really happy for them, I had me a good cry this afternoon. They'll be living nearly 2 hours away from us. My daughter just got confirmation of her new job. Now is the time to concentrate on me!!!! I think we're going to invest in a treadmill. That would make me happy! A very weepy, happy, sad, frustrated...and so goes this list... Or perhaps I could call it the 90 day or 3 month "blip". There's no way around it. Today was a rough one. The cravings are coming hard and fast. I haven't felt like this in a while. I suppose its expected. For the past 2 nights I've dreamt I've been buying cigarettes and can hardly wait to get out of store to go smoke one. The anticipation for that smoke was high. Then I woke up. Certainly glad to know it was just a dream, but also a bit disappointed because it all felt sooooo real. The anticipation of that one smoke. Because of the 90 days behind me, I'm more able to deal with this, even though its very unpleasant(don't want to scare off any newbies here - its important to remember that at this stage of the quit, the bad days are definitely fewer and far between). I just wanted to post, to see this in writing, in hopes of booting Old Nick to the curb. Right now I'm not in a very good mood, and perhaps...no NOT perhaps...I really am a bit miserable!!!!! But now I know from experience...THIS TOO SHALL PASS. Tomorrow will be a better day and tomorrow I will still be smoke free! Thanks for letting me bend your ears? eyes? I do feel better just committing this to a post. I'd be lost without you all. Cheers, Jan My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/13/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 90 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,724 Amount Saved: $810 Life Gained: Days: 10 Hrs: 4 Mins: 57 Seconds: 53
