Lunch ideas...hmmm...yesterday I took a light cheese stick and wrapped it with oven roasted turkey...yum yum. Also had 2 slices of tomato then washed it all down with a diet cola poured over a tall glass of crushed ice. How about a greek salad? I love them!

Hello All, I shall be hovering in the background soaking up tips for the time being. I'm still eating for England at the moment so there is no point trying to diet until I've settled down (I'm on day 8 cold turkey after stopping the lozenges - did I say turkey? food? where? lol). I have ordered a gravity (air) walker and I already walk 2 miles a day to work and back so hopefully I'm not doing too much damage to my waistline. As Arnie says - 'I'll be back!' :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/17/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 81 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,634 Amount Saved: 202.5 Life Gained: Days: 10 Hrs: 14 Mins: 25 Seconds: 11

Another tip about using the scales to measure your progress: scales are not your friend. Don't become addicted to them. They will drive you crazy. Every set will give you a different score. Have a weigh-in day once a week to measure your progress. Use other methods (Non-Scale Methods) to measure your progress such as checking your measurements, how your clothes fit and how do you feel. Rusty :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/13/2004 Smoke-Free Days: 540 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 15,132 Amount Saved: $1890 Life Gained: Days: 74 Hrs: 8 Mins: 10 Seconds: 18

Breaking, (If I may..) What a way to come together everyone! Weight maintenance is indeed a hard struggle when quitting. Here we may be able to learn from one another coping mechanisms to avoid slipping. We can also learn that food is not a substitute for smoking and we can be healthier, better individuals. Unfortunately I had to delete the link for the tracker, as we do not allow links or product promotion within the site. This is a great opportunity to use the SSC IM Messenger to forward the tracker link to everyone. Take the time to eat right and use exercise to keep you on track. Remember to check with your doctor before starting any program, they can help you also come up with a plan that is right for you. Remember to set goals for yourself and reward yourself for goals maintained and achieved. We are always here for support and knowledge. Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
