redfox, I bet you've gotten the idea by now -- every single one of us wants you to succeed. This site saved my quit a dozen times, and that was just in the first 48 hours. So stay here, ask questions, read, shout out when you need it. Somebody will respond. ToeKnee - Welcome! I'm glad you found this site! My first piece of advice is to read through dozens of posts, then read through dozens more. The insight, suggestions, support, and information here is priceless! Also, post A TON! Congratulations - by the end of today the nicotine will be out of your system and you'll find the physical component of the cravings to be almost gone. Cigarettes Not Smoked

17 years ago 0 7 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Well here I am. I actually had my last cigarette on April Fools day and a friend of mine sent me the link to this site. I love it. I have not had it too bad really. I am using a patch and have a church full of prayer warriors I called up on on Sunday. I have smoked for 32 years and decided since I hate the smell, hate the hassle anymore and wanted to walk the talk of not abusing any substances, that I preach to my 17 year old stepdaughters it was time. How hypocrital of me :gasp: My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 3 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 75 Amount Saved: $15.3 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 9 Mins: 15 Seconds: 30
