Princess, I am not a doctor...but it seems that some of us that have had a little problem with panic/anxiety disorder have a slight flare when we quit. You will read allot about slight depression and some anxiety. I think it is because the brain is definately going through a chemical adjustment. I am pulling out of that anxiety just now. I have been taking a B-complex and I do believe it is helping. I am much more up than I have been in awhile. Hang in there. just thought id let you know im ok. i finally contacted the nurse and since my dr. wasnt there they spoke with someone else. they werent conserned with my heartbeat and told me it wasnt really anything to worry about but if i got worse to let them know. they left my meds as they are. believe it or nor, dont figure, i ended up with a fast heartbeat last night. i have panic disorder. everything seems to be ok today. thanks to all of you that responded to my post. i wouldnt be here still smoke free at this point without you and our higher power. have a great smoke free day. Hi Princess. I would definitely call your doctor again. Don't stand for not getting a response on something that might be important. In the meantime, if you can't get through, talking to the pharmacist is a good idea - I've found that they often know so much more about the effects from medicine than some doctors do!
