Yes it was a bad weekend for me too. Everything aggravated me. This morning, everything aggravates me. I still have smoking dreams. I don't wake up, I sleep like a rock. But they are so real, I got up this morning actually trying to remember where I put that pack I bought just yesterday! Except it wasn't yesterday, it wasn't at all. I just dreamed it.
I want this to go away. Just go away. At this point, for sheer interference in life, the quit is as disruptive as the cough. The big difference is, the urges, cravings and aggravation of the quit will get better. The cough can only get worse.
Now, if you outdoorsy folks lived in CA, you wouldn't be able to be outside in many places if you smoke. No trips to the park, no days at the beach. No sauntering along the pier out into the ocean. No relaxing drink at the dimly lit bar. None of that. To enjoy any of that, you have to be a non-smoker.
