Contact, How are you doing? Let us know how we can help. We're here for you. More positive things to say to yourself: I'm a Non Smoker This is my life, my choice, and my quit. I Will beat this. I'm craving because I'm healing. Postive things that will happen after your quit. You'll live a longer, healthier life. You'll feel better and stronger. Your family will have you in their lives much longer. You won't smell like nasty cigarettes. Your teeth will be whiter. Your breath will be fresher. Your house and car will smell nice. You won't have to plan events around how many cigarettes you have or whether you can or can't smoke at an event. This list can go on and on and on. Would love to hear from you and how you're doing. Contact, What helps me the most with my attitude is when I remind myself that my body is healing. With every craving, urge, withdrawal, or thought of smoking at all, tell yourself, "This feeling is another sign that my body is healing." That's the truth too. Have you read the workbook over to the left of this page? It really will help you out so much. Post a lot and read a lot. Ask as many questions as you need to ask. We're all here for you. Contact This is the hardest job you will ever tackle bar none. Nicotine is harmless by it,s self but is highly addictive. It,s not the nicotine that will kill you it,s the other 3999 chemicals in a cigarette that will. They use formeldehyde to enbalm dead people it,s also in cigerettes??? Do I need to say anything more ??? Contact, You have to keep coming here and reading and reading and reading. It is hard when there are triggers all over the place. There is nothing I didn't do without a cigarette so it was hard for me to even function at times. I think I spent the first 2 weeks here reading. Find yourself a safe place and go there whenever you need to. I spent lots of time in my bedroom (that was my safe place) watching TV or reading. Keep us posted and show your stats I :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/21/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 32 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 653 Amount Saved: $208 Life Gained: Days: 4 Hrs: 12 Mins: 58 Seconds: 52

Contact - So far I've found it helpful to remind myself that although I "could" smoke "I CHOOSE not to". That helps me feel in control of things and more positive. Flash us your stats so we can see how far along you are. Most of all - hang in there! Post more if you need to! contact, Continue to keep occupied and get yourself relaxed! Make lists of activities to do, rewards you like and coping mechanisms that will help. You are doing the right thing and a change is in order, take control and see the better and healthier you :) Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
