Oh I wish that had of happened me! Everything tasted so nice and still does, but when I first quit oh my god the plainest of food just tasted so nice! Dang - I wish that happened to me! Not only did the old favourites taste good but EVERYTHING tasted good! I start thinking about lunch as soon as breakfast is over and start thinking about supper right after lunch! On the other hand, I was long past due to learn how to eat healthier and get more fit.....so gaining weight was a much-needed motivation to eat more fruits and veggies and get moving! Disneyfan, That's great! You may find your sense of taste and smell returning with a force, may explain why you're don't like the same foods, don't taste the same. Keep persevering and congrats on 18 days! Danielle ______________________ The SSC Support Team

Disney, I lost 10 lbs. at the beginning of my quit but I found it. ;) That was my fault though because I just started pigging out and not exercising enough. I have found several things that I don't like as well as I did when I was a smoker. Green beans is one thing. I'll have to figure out how to season them differently. Oh, tamales is another thing. 18 Days is so Great!!! Congratulations on those terrific stats. Congratulations on not gaining any weight. I've noticed the same thing. I haven't decided if that's good or bad. However, it is depressing when you make one of your all time favorite meals and it just doesn't taste the same.
