Mercy, Some of our members have found that throwing virtual dishes and glassware at the offending party, or against a wall, or anywhere, is helpful relieving that stress. I suggest you give it a try. If you run out of dishes, I happen to know where you can get more...just don't stop throwing. We can even provide ben-gay if your arm gets sore. Go ahead...throw one. Good. :) Now throw another, but harder. Very good! :) :) You got the hang of it now. Throw another, and try to aim just a smidge better this time (everyone else better duck) :8o: Excellent! Aren't you feeling better already? Keep in touch, and holler if you need more dishes! Hi Mercy- I'm so sorry to have missed your post yesterday! I just want to reiterate what our other friends have said: *This too shall pass. I'm one of the people Tutti referred to - have had a rough ride lately. Could've really used your dog! I think walking is very helpful. *Supervisors can really stink at times! *It's NEVER too late to change! *You mentioned using our days with purpose. For the past 2 months, you have served a huge role/purpose in my life - thank you!!! Now check in and let us know how you're doing! Hi Mercy. You are soooo close to landing on that beach ... don't let other people's idiocy threaten that. I'm not nearly as far as you, so I don't know if my advice means much ... but how about yelling at that junkie devil on your shoulder? Tell it to "go away, I don't smoke anymore and you can't bother me!". Then tell yourself that you are CHOOSING not to smoke - it won't change the work situation, it won't make the thunder stop and it won't make your achy body feel any better! Hang in there. Try to get a good night's sleep - that may help, too. And remember ... tomorrow is TUESDAY! Vent all you want, Mercy. I've been there...many times and then some. The good news is...this will pass. Hang in there and know this just gets better. Only a few days to go until you join us on Century Beach. We'll be waiting for you with open arms!
