Hey Legend,
you are doing fine, and you are experiencing what everyone else has at one point or another...and the 3rd & 4th weeks seem to hit hard for some.
We have to deal with emotional triggers now...and habits associated with them. When the crave hits...stop and "think"....ok..auntdeb said, "look at the activity I am doing, the conversation I am having"
what is this feeling...emotion...that I am experiencing:
Anger
hunger
anxiety
fear
jealousy
lust
physical pain
Fatigue
hunger (omg, why is my tongue feeling fat and I'm salivating for a cig...oops...what time did I eat, have I eaten anything?)
fatigue(am I too tired to really finish this project, and just need an extra boost of energy...that a smoke would have done in the past)
anxiety(am I speaking with someone...that I want to tell exactly whats on my mind...but can't?)
anger(have I been ask to do something...I don't want to?)
When you recognize the emotion...for what it is...take a deep breath and then blow it away!
Be nice now...but be a little more bold...you can you know.
You are an adult, all grown up. Learn to say what you think and if it is not possible...take a deep breath and know that you don't need the lie of smoking anymore...you are having an emotion...nothing more!
auntdeb
