JQ,
That's a very personal question and will vary from person to person. I've known some people that after 3 months, they aren't t thinking about smoking at all... same with 6 months. At 6 months, I was still thinking about smoking every single day and was pissed at myself over the fact that I was not "over" this addiction yet. I guess for me, true freedom came at about a year and a half. Then, I rarely craved, I was able to go out with smokers (was even dating a smoker) and was completely fine with not smoking, even when others were smoking heavily around me. Tonight, I went out and sat next to a smoker who smoked my brand and my flavor and everything! And I didn't smoke a very common brand, so to see somebody smoking MY brand was completely strange to me. Did I think about smoking? Yes, a little. Did I WANT to smoke? Not really. Did I smoke? HELL NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Crave the Quit!
