princess, Congratulations to you for hanging in there! You've made it a week now. Good for you. One day at a time you can do this. Princess, I used name brand patches in the past but this time I tried the Walmart brand and it worked just as well. I found that if I put them on my hip they stayed put the best. I used them for about 8 days then went cold turkey with no significant withdrawals (but that's just me, others report significant withdrawal once they stopped the patch). Congratulations on 1 week, it only gets better from here on out! Hey Princess, Congratulations on getting through Hell Week. You're doing so great!! It will get easier and I know you'll be able to hang in there just fine. Any time you start to feel tempted, come here first. Okay? Drink a bunch of water and just post your little heart out. We'll come running. I wish I could help you with the patch question. I had to go cold turkey due to health reasons. I just couldn't use any of the NRTs. Stay Strong. You're doing a wonderful job. Princess, In general, the differences between patch brands lie mostly in what they are made of not the nicotine they deliver. Congratulations on 1 week smoke free! Do you have a reward planned? Danielle _______________________ The SSC Support Team

well hell week is almost over for me. my first wk end as a non smoker and so far its been ok. my brocitis seems to be getting better and my taste buds seem to be coming alive. now if i can just stay on track i believe things will get even better. no slips so far. thank god.is there any differences between the patches? i cant get the nicotral patche so went for the nicoderm cq. the ones i have now were outdated and kept wanting to fall off. only have 5 left. thanks to everyone for your support.
