lawchick sometimes i get the same feelings, and i dont know if the panic brings on the symptoms or the symptoms bring on the panic all i know is that it sucks and i dont like either one. i have been going round and round with PA/anxiety for years and that is a huge question for me. the symptoms alone are not harmful, they are uncomfortable but not harmful, but when you mix in the thought process and the panic starts rolling its the worst. the last week for me has been the worst its been in around 8 years so its like im starting from scratch, but im back on meds and just trying to look forward. each day i try to be more focused than the last, i try to pay attention to my thoughts versuses my physical symptoms and i try to break them down. this all sounds good on paper but when the panic rolls in its hard to really do much of anything. hang in there we are all here to help.

Hi R- Thanks for responding. I don't actually feel very tired. To the contrary, I can't sleep for very long periods. I awaken after about 4 hours of sleep. And I can't get to bed before 2ish in the morning. This website is unbelievably helpful. I felt very alone before being able to read other people's stories. Thank you again. I've posted another message in the understanding panic section, b/c I don't even know if I have panic disorder. The people here are nice.

Hi Yes this happens to me as well. My panic is really bad as soon as I wake up. I think I'm going crazy even though I've been diagnosed with panic disorder and generalized anxiety. This site has helped because there always seems to be new symptoms that come along and when you read that others have had it, it makes you feel a little better. Just wondering do you feel exhausted all the time?

This has been a really helpful site to me. Docs aren't sure if I have panic problems, they're investigating everything. But I get episodes of heart racing and pounding, bad stomach acid, dizziness, faintness. Only problem is I only feel fear or stress once the symptoms start. I don't feel this overwhelming fear everyone talks about, until after I start not feeling well. Is this true for anyone else? Also, does anyone else have to eat every few hours or they feel like they're going to pass out? Docs don't think I have clinical hypoglycemia - I've had a GTT.
