It must be normal. I don't have much of a desire to " do it " The demons are still there,,,the thought and I am holding strong I am amazed that the mind can try to persuade you to want to do something which is life threatening. ( animate vrs inanimate ) It is quite the war. Do other people dream also about this ? Cigarettes Not Smoked

I regularly have dreams of smoking. But just for the record... Last night in my dream I picked up a lit cigarette off of the ground (for some reason it had lost its filter and was just the end) and I was determined to find a place to discard of it and prevent a forest fire!!! Of course I did.. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/16/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 54 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,098 Amount Saved: $151.2 Life Gained: Days: 5 Hrs: 8 Mins: 18 Seconds: 8

Yeagh...pretty much Yes, dreams of smoking are common. Not to scare anyone...but they can happen years after you quit. I know, they happened to me three years after I quit a long time ago. I would wake up with a sore throat, "literally". Don't worry though. It actually fueled my ego when I remembered that I had actually been a smoker at one time because at this point.... I was no longer thinking of myself as a Quitter....LOL (can't wait to get to this point again) :8|auntdeb My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 68 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,429 Amount Saved: $323 Life Gained: Days: 9 Hrs: 10 Mins: 25 Seconds: 17

I did too, for the longest time. Now I dream of Cheeseburgers, french fries and chocolate shakes! I have actually woke myself up screaming "Super-size that order, dammit!" I need therapy........ I only had one dream about smoking. I was at my 100 day mark (in my dream) and how did I celebrate?? Why I SMOKED of course!! :gasp: Talk about messed up!! I'm very happy to report however, that when I really DID hit the 100 day mark, I did NOT smoke to celebrate! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/30/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 132 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,658 Amount Saved: $693 Life Gained: Days: 12 Hrs: 7 Mins: 12 Seconds: 32
