Same thing happened to me. I read on here about everybody's complexion becoming shiny and healthy looking... and I just could NOT get rid of the zits! It'll go away eventually. Crave the Quit! You know, this is the only place that i've seen mention of the "quit zits" - I've looked for more information elsewere, and can't find anything. I've had TERRIBLE breakouts NOW! Almost 7 months and now i'm breaking out. I don't know how long it lasts, but it's good to see someone sya that it'll go away. This is frightening. I feel for ya, fortunecookie. My face and back both are broken out like a 17 year old. I know that my horemones were afected greatly by my quit. I'm guessing that this is what causes the breakouts. Because your body is going through so many changes as it adjusts to your smoke-free lifestyle. The last time this happened to me it was called puberty  (A few short years ago...) Fortunecookie, As you can see you are not alone. The exact cause is still unknown yet some research suggests it may be related to chemical changes going on in your skin as a result of quitting or it may be related to your diet. Diets high in fat & sugar can contribute to acne. Please consult a dermatologist to work out a skin regiment you can live by. Danielle ________________________ The SSC Support Team

go and talk to a doctor....there are medications that will help with the acne.....there are enough complaints about it that it obviously is related to quitting. but you can get help with it....and possibly once it clears up, you will no longer be bothered with it any more than normal?
