give yourself a HUG....cause YOU are in control.....and at first we hardly know what to DO with that control....we frantically clean, cook, shop, whatever, take our minds from smoking....and then we reach this first hurdle.....we actually SEE the empty space (EXTRA space actually) that quitting brings us.....and we sort of panic and have a crave. Realize that this is normal....and just fill the space with something that pleases YOU...something you have thought of doing or wished to do. In other words TREAT yourself!! and make sure you associate the pleasure of that treat with the fact that you no longer smoke! Set up more rewards.....and when you feel scared, think about reaching the reward. YOU are finally in control of your life. It's an awesome feeling...and it takes some getting used to
congratulations!!!
