Tryagain It is good to see that your still in there hanging tough. It was upsetting reading your posts, I was so worried about your. I'm so happy that your still with the quit. Yes like your I've been having dreams about smoking. The other night I dreamt that I was trying to sneak one outside and my husband was trying to catch me. I just kept going around and around the house trying to keep out of his sight. I don't remember if I ever light up that cig. Love you girl. God bless. Jaybird'slady. It's OK. The safe way to cave is in your dreams. Just check yourself in the morning. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/16/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 28 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 578 Amount Saved: $78.4 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 19 Mins: 36 Seconds: 39

The dreams were a pain in the beginning for me, but they don't bother me anymore, if I have them. I never smoke in my dreams -- I just dream about cigs. One time I found cig butts and was trying to hide them!?! Who knows? One time I carried the cig around, but never lit it. Dreams are interesting! Tryagain, No you're very normal. Many quitters experience vivid dreams or dreams about smoking throughout their quit. Danielle _________________________ The SSC Support Team

I know others have had them. Last night I must have smoked three packs in my dreams. One after the other. I was so happy, didn't cough, felt a great sense of well being. I went through all of my greatest trigger points, all smoking. I'm kind of afraid that trigger points will be harder to get through today since I "smoked" last night. Or, does it not matter, is smoke free smoke free no matter what you dream? My smoking dreams have pretty much stopped. Now, if I wake up in the morning with a little sore throat, I panic for a minute and think "did I smoke yesterday?" I am always so relieved when I realize that it was just a dream. These dreams are VERY normal; don't be alarmed. And as Phil said, the patch should be taken off at night to avoid these vivid dreams. It is a side effect of wearing the patch at night. try, Keep persevering! The members have provided some good advice, so take what you need and keep it close. Use relaxation techniques before bed and ease yourself into sleep :) Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
