Day 6

18 years ago 0 6 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Hi all, Day 6 is here and I am feeling good. One thing is weighing heavy on me though. The wife also took the therapy on the same day as me and she is having a harder time of it. She has slipped twice, one cig each time. I wrote her an email this morning to encourage her to sign up for this program. I hope she does. Another buddy of mine also took the therapy last Saturday. He has already relapsed. I know that I can only control what I do but it is my nature to try to help those close to me. I will continue to stay strong, but I really want the wife to suceed too. Hi, Bluesfan - just take care of your quit and she will follow your lead. Believe me when I say that my husband has motivated me to give it my all this time. In the past I believe that I used his continuing to smoke as a excuse to relapse. He has convinced me that he can break the cycle and beat this addiction and that has made me more determined than ever. You do what ever it takes to keep you a nonsmoker and it will hopefully rub off on her. Stay strong and believe in your strength.
