Ok, my friend said my pc is a piece of garbage at this point and since he is a geek/guru about pc's he know's what he's talking about. In the meantime, good news, for now that is -- He's lent me a spare and I'm back! You know for the hours and hours which passed I was getting withdrawals about not having access to all of you wonderful people! So I was having a combo of withdrawals (pc gone) and cravings (non smoking).. it was hellish! Now I'm a happy puppy and heading to bed.. so exhausted by all of this! LOL! My belly still just doesn't feel right.. maybe I am coming down with something..who knows? In the meantime it's making me slightly anxious because I can't seem to handle illness and not smoking at the same time. It's just me. I am having pc fixed hopefully in my home today. If they have to take the pc away then I won't be online for a bit. If I am away I have totally disappeared for too long (I hope!). Good luck everyone.. take good care and see you soon :) Love and hugs, Monica58 My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 5 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 105 Amount Saved: $45 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 14 Mins: 13 Seconds: 25

I'm a re starter (re quitter?), anyway.. Yesterday was far better than today was for me. Hubby and I got into a 'discussion' just before bedtime and I took that with me when I went to sleep... outcome - anxious as hell, cravings that just wouldn't stop. One after the other so I went back to bed on and off all day. Then I got up for the last time and took a long hot shower. I really get relaxed from showering and then I pampered myself with lots of lotions and face cream, some perfume and then read for a while. Just made dinner for hubby - I've lost my appetite. Will have a bite later. I did a lot of breathing exercises just a 1/2 hr ago and now I'm going to watch a little t.v. and get to bed earlier than usual. Tomorrow is a brand new day and I'm just happy that I got through a rough one. In fact I'm pretty proud of myself that I didn't allow the external stresses affect my quit. Also, just for anyone's information,,, if you are suffering from constipation Metamucil, Citrucel or Benefibre are great products to get things moving.. For me I have found it to be quite the opposite. My body seems very 'pleased' as it's ridding itself of all the toxins :) Have a great evening all and I'll be coming back often to read and to post.. Yeah Karen, that's definitely something I couldn't do is go out where there's smoking going on. I'm lucky though because in Toronto, there is no public smoking..in fact in all of Ontario as of this past May. I don't know if I could ever be around a smoker again. 'Sides with all the information out there regarding second hand smoke it, to me, wouldn't be in anyone's best interest. I only have a few friends left that smoke and they know they cannot smoke around me and I can't even get near them outside when they smoke. I'm just way too fragile at this point and maybe things will change down the road but the changes won't be made until I'm ready. My quit.. my rules. Hi all, I'm doing pretty good I have good days & bad ones I take it one day at a time like most of you. This is day 17 for me I was expecting to cough things up but haven't. It's amazing how well I can smell & breath no rattles, wheezes you know all those sounds that come from your chest......I really like how my chest sounds now. :) I'm getting ready to join a fitness center the beginning of Feb. Yayyy!!! haven't exercise in a long time. I'm really proud of myself I've not smoke in 17 days. I still can't believe I've quit with the help of Chantix, commitment & getting motivated I'm doing it one day at a time. P.s. I don't know about you but I hate the smoking dreams will they ever stop? My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/3/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 17 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 264 Amount Saved: $51 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 17 Mins: 11 Seconds: 8

Just finishing up day 2 of my quit. Wasn't too bad, maybe I was a bit crabbier today than yesterday. I've got my apologies all polished and ready to go if need be. Mostly, I'm tired, and really lack the concentration. Using the patch and wellbutrin. Expecting much of the same tomorrow, so I'm going easy on myself. Happy to be a January quitter! Cheers, Jan My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/13/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 1 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 56 Amount Saved: $9 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 5 Mins: 9 Seconds: 31

Hey 007 members, I am on day 4 and doing okay, still have moments that I think oh it is time for my smoke break and then I remember that I don't smoke, thought of smoking usually leaves me pretty quickly though, trying to keep busy and not get idle for very long at the time. I dropped the patch after the first three hours on Monday and have done okay. I do have a little bit of a runny nose and some coughing up junk but I believe that is my body cleaning out some of the crud I have been cramming in there for so long. I am still waiting for the big splurge of energy to hit me, I have been feeling sluggish and tired most of the week. CAn hardly make it home after work before I am ready to sit back and get some rest. Thought that I might get to start a walking routine this week to help pass the time in the afternoons but it has turned cold and yucky here in the SE this week. Any of the other new memebers feeling kind of drained???
