Sick stomach continues during week 4.

It's clear this is withdrawl stomach. What drug can I can take to get past this, it's wearing on my last nerve. I'm ready to drink battery acid, take LSD and eat broken glass if that what it takes. For nearly a month now, I have not smoked. All month, sick at my stomach. Today as a test, I smoked one. The upset stomach went away. I'm sick of being sick. Food does not help, Maalox does not help. I can deal with everything else now but this sick stomach thing has got to go or else I may become Marlboro's slave boy again. Help!! I'm going through gastric water torture here.

Sorry for the confusion. I'm not taking Chantix now. I was sick on Chantix and sick off chantix. I've been sick for a month. I started Chantix Jan 8th. Took it for about a week, then quit smoking and quit Chantix. Been sick every since

Hey Joe. I was puking for the first couple of days and I went to see my Doc. He told me to get on some over the counter med's (Prilosec, but that isn't the point). Go to the doctor. He can fix your stomach and you already know damn well what he can do for you once you've got lung cancer...watch you die a slow painful death. Sorry to sound like such a jerk**f, but testing out how smoking one would help you stomach has to be one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. You quiting? Then quit. Stomach hurts, go to the doctor. I'm still taking the medicine and may have to take it for a long time, oh well. That's what men do. Man up Joe! Hi JoesphL, I see that you joined us the 19th, but I don't see your stats as to when you quit or your meter... You say you smoked one and it stopped the nausea from the Chantix? (strange...indeed) Chantix makes cigaretts taste different...not so good. I've done great with it, I suggest you see your Doctor. auntdeb My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 41 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,085 Amount Saved: $194.75 Life Gained: Days: 5 Hrs: 17 Mins: 48 Seconds: 7

I have to agree with everyone here.. You MUST see a doctor. Smoking that one cigarette didn't help your stomach. I think it was just psychosomatic (sp?). Maybe just hoping that it helped? Hmmm.. Just food for thought. If anyone feels sick for 1/2 the time that you've been ill they go to the doctor. Your ill stomach sounds like what I went through when I had acid reflux disease... caused by too much acid building up causing extreme nausea. You may not have this, but the bottom line is that if you don't have this treated, whatever it is, could cause even more harm down the road! Good luck and make an appt. a.s.a.p. Joseph, Your understandably frustrated! A whole month of being sick to your stomach is a long time to deal with this problem. Please go see your doctor. He/she is the best authority to rule out any medical causes. We hope you feel better soon. Danielle _______________________ The SSC Support Team
