Hi mitri and welcome sweetie. Congratulations on your fourth day!!! Mitri it's my fourth day also, but I don't believe you shouild have that much difficulity with breathing, then again everyone is different. Mitri notify your physician and get a check up, it won't hurt. Also, keep posting, the support here is really awesome. Here's a *hug* for your fourth day. Also keep me posted, so I know your doing okay. Hi casey, thanks for your advise. I think I would go for a check up if it gets worst.

Hello everybody, Im on my 4th smoke-free day and feel quite happy with it. I have totally lost any desire for smoking; it came naturally with no cling to will power, or substitutions of any kind. Instead Ive problems with breathing; most of the time I feel like having oxygen insufficiency. It persists even when I try some deep breathing exercise. Its rather painful and prevents me from doing things properly. Maybe you guys could tell me why this is happening and how I should deal with it. Is it physiological or is it neurotic? .... and am I going to have it for long? Thank you for your support, mitri My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/4/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 4 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 17 Amount Saved: $4 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 14 Mins: 25 Seconds: 4

Thanks Simba, ;) congratulations to you, too! You're doing great. My problem seems to be one of many nicotine withdrawal symptoms anyway. Unless ..... I might check it out with my physician if it persist, before long. XXX.mitri

Mitri,, Don't know if it will help, but they say Vitamin C helps transport oxygen to the cells...maybe try some citrus fruit or juice (raw potatoes are also a good source for Vitamin C) auntdeb ps..I would definitely call the Doctor though!
