OMG Gonna, I must be running on a time delay. I just saw this message now. Hope you had that long nap, and glad to know today is better. These miserable days, so I'm told, just add strength and character! So by rights, we've got to be so full of strength and character that we could explode any second!!!! Glad you made it through. Hey gonna Your meter says 148 days congratulations on such a fine showing. It takes a while to go through all the triggers that we have accumlated over the duration of our smoking years. I had a similar episode in my 5 month. I was outside watering the garden and hadn't had to for the prior 5 months because of the rainy season. I alway lite up smoked as many as three or four in an hour's time. That was tough. You did the correct thing by getting yourself out of harms way. Remember to distract, don't dwell on the smoking urge and get busy or go take a nap. Hope you are all better now. I assure you that this training does pay off! It makes you tough gonna. LOL, Phil... Thanks for the responses...I had an all-day pity party just for me yesterday. Feel a little silly for it today. Never truly at risk, I don't think, but I went through a lot of emotions--- :(; :8o:;; I'm okay today. Thank you, dear friends! You guys are the best! I dunno what the deal is. No longer on Chantix and so very secure. This morning I decided to be lazy and watch a movie on TV. A real tear-jerker. Have a little drama in my own life going on as well. Am at home, by myself, and have gone on a crying jag. A few minutes ago, I went to my son's room (he is out of town), found a open pack, pulled one out, sniffed it once, twice, and then put it back and left the room (locking the door behind me). WHEW! That is the closest I have come in a long time...they are there within reach, but I did not do it! I don't want to smoke. I am just sad. And that is how I dealt with it before. Gotta go...I hear a nap on the couch calling me...that is probably the best rememdy!
