Hey Jan - People still tell me I'm crabby, or grumpy or miserable, but I really don't feel that way (maybe this is the new me!). I may be a tad bit more agressive (meaning, I'm much less likely to take any sh** off of anyone), but crabby has not been the word I would use for me during my first month. Are people calling you crabby or do you just feel crabby? Or, do you feel crabby because people keep calling you crabby and it's getting on your nerves and making you feel more agressive :). Hang in there, you're doing fine. I see one word floating around the forum these past few days, and it also describes me. CRABBY!!! As in Crabbychops! Holygeez has a post about poking out someone's eye. Yes, I even asked if I could have a go at it! The past few hours have been extremely rough. Knowledge...being the key, makes this easier to bear. I know where its coming from, I know what it entails, and hopefully, I know how to handle it. I do feel a bit better now. When it hits, it sucks, and we just have to ride it out. Because I KNOW it gets better. And will I smoke? You bet I won't! Having a better evening now, Cheers, Jan My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/13/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 9 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 294 Amount Saved: $81 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 2 Mins: 30 Seconds: 42

I must qualify still as a new quitter then... Of course, crabby is a quality I have possessed for quite awhile. My first few weeks of quitting was more reminiscent of Linda Blair in The Exorcist :gasp: My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/8/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 136 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,842 Amount Saved: $1088 Life Gained: Days: 14 Hrs: 11 Mins: 46 Seconds: 9

Please remind me of this next week.... I am choosing to be slapstick silly and not grumpy. It is my choice if I want to be happy, slappy, and even wacky! I know you are just going to shoot me! Yes, I am crabby too. Annoyed, irritated, grumpy, etc. etc... At home my husband understands and he leaves me alone. It's the people at work I worry about. They may not be so forgiving if I tell them where they can go. :gasp: My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 22 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 225 Amount Saved: $187 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 19 Mins: 25 Seconds: 7
