Congrats on day 1 Capp!
I wasn't online all that much yesterday -- busy with hubby who is also on disability.
It seems that you are right on course, lots of distractions are your best bet. I know that you have MS (hope I remembered correctly).. so don't overdo it and cause any injury to yourself. Pace yourself hon, it's not a race :)
Keep strong and know that we are always here for you !

Ok capp... just don't overdo it.. I know all too well about chronic pain - as well as chronic diseases so I do hope that you pace yourself. Be gentle with it all - Do maybe one physical thing a day and then for the rest of the day have a list of other distractions to check over and do them.
I just don't want to see you causing painful flare ups *concerned*
You are doing so well capp!
Stay strong hon :)

Oh Yeah, the sticks on the dum dum have a small hole in them, so you can suck air through them. I used to hold it like a smoke in the car, suck some air now and then.

Hello Capp, Dum-Dums worked well for me also. I had them in my car, in my purse, the pencil holder at work. After a couple weeks I realized that I didn't need the dum dums either. I do alot of mints and gum now.
Anyway, Welcome, and let us know how it's going. Keep a positive attitude, this is a good thing.

You are doing so well! I have been waiting for that burst of energy quitters talk about, but I don't think it's going to happen... Don't forget to reward yourself for doing such a good job! Is Dr. Bonners an English product? Never heard of it! I would love my house to smell like peppermint (especially now at Christmas!)
