I agree with Cranky, as far as the opposite of depression being anger. Howerver, for those of us that don't do the anger thing very well, and don't want to do it - the depression is our next best thing. Someone gave me a hint this week imallclear - lose the emotion. Now you may say - WHAT!!!, but I say it works. Our emotions right now can not be trusted, so try not to assign any meaning to your thoughts. Believe me it helps. When all else fails - take a flashlight under the covers and read a book.
