I get the flushed feeling to the point that I touch my face and neck again and again while I'm having a panic attack. It's one of the first and main symptoms I have during an attack. If I am in my car I put the windows down and turn on the air. Also, I try to always have some cool bottled water with me to sip. That seems to help.
Hi Virginia! Yes I have flushing; in fact, this is my
MAIN symptom when i'm anxious & I am sooo self
conscious 'coz it's a symp that everyone can see. I
was told is was vasodilation from Tofranil &
sensitivity to sun, but now that i'm taking Tofranil &
Lexapro, it has DRAMATICALLY decreased, but is
still a pain in the a..!! You never know when it's
gonna happen soooo my MD said put 1/4 of a
klonopin under tongue when you feel this start & it
helps. I do this usually 2x/ day
Hey Virginia. I use to get that too. I started carrying a package of baby wipes in my purse. I found that when I started to feel flushed I could use one of these to cool my face off. It really helps, especially in the summer time. I tend to get it more during the summer, I guess cause its already hot outside.
Hi everyone, thank you so much for your responses to my other post. I really appreciate it.. I was wondering, does anyone experience like flushing of your face and neck, My face and neck always feel like they are "burning, and red" not like a rash just like I have a sunburn or something. I was so distraght about it, I've had it for the past month, and I had a panic attack this morning, can't shake this feelining that I am losing my mind, thanks!
