Thank you for the nice posts and support. I had mentioned my wife and I were going to Nicotine Anonymous this evening...well I called the Catholic church where the meetings were being held and was told they no longer met there and they had no info on where they moved. So...if anyone's from Indianapolis and happens to know where the new meetings are held please let us know. I'll continue to search the net and if we find a meeting I'll let ya know how it goes.

OK Today is 12 days without nicotine! I can't belive it. My wife and I quit together Cold Turkey and it continues to be a challenge. We are still having some strong cravings now and then. Last night I had a dream that I started smoking again! It was not a pleasant dream. I'm looking for support anywhere I can find it. We are headed for our first Nicotine Anonymous meeting tonight. I'm kinda nervous for some reason?! Hey, does your wife know about Wendi posting mushy love messages to you??!! Congratulations to you both -- you're doing better than you think you are. The nicotine is out of your systems by now, so the worst of the physical cravings is behind you. I'd love to hear about your Nicotine Anon meeting, didn't even know there was such a thing. Everything you can do to keep on the right path couldn't hurt and can only help. Welcome and keep the faith. Congrats to you and your wife...how wonderful for both of you! My husband completely got rid of his nicoteen (chew) last year, and has slowly been trying to get me to jump on the band wagon. I think it's fantastic you both are going through this together...and the nicoteen Ann. meetings are a great idea. I have found the support group here in the SSC just wonderful. I'm sure nicoteen ann. is similar! Let us know how the meeting went. Welcome to SCC Robb and Wendi - You guys are doing great. While the nicotine is out of your system, it takes much longer to work through our "emotional" attachment to cigarettes. It's great that you have a partner to do this with. There are lots of helpful tools on this site. Quitting smoking is a journey which involves changing some of our habits and lifestyle. We need to learn new skills and learn how to take care of and reward ourselves. I was disappointed that your Nicotine Anonymous Meeting was cancelled. I think that there should be groups like that in every community.
