I too am on my second quit. I quit once in 1995 for 6 months. Hang in there...the first few days are the worst. Just remember..the craving will pass whether you smoke or not. Are you going cold turkey, or are you using any medication or NRT's such as gum or patch? I WILL get easier and I'm not just saying that because you want to hear it! It really does and you know it from past experience, right? I know the memory can play tricks though. You'll make it. Just keep posting and being involved. Also, you're kind of like me in that I have quit before for long quits only to pick them up again. it's that long-term staying off the nicoteine that I need to work on. maybe you too? Hi aushan! Welcome. Please know that you have chosen freedom. There is so much information here, do the program at your left, read everything you can here, and post post post! If you relapsed after 10 months, then you know what to expect in these first few weeks, but go back and find out what happened and why you chose to start again. It will help you put coping skills in place so that you won't be unprepared ever again. Remember, we're here if you need help, and this site ROCKs. There is soooo much support and encouragement and information here it's amazing! Keep choosing freedom!
