Fabulous post Kait! You are truly inspirational and many will read your post and know that you are definitely on the right track. Baby steps is the key to the whole quit and you are doing beautifully ! In time you'll be able to get to the next level and only you will know when that time comes. Right on Kaitilina!...Baby steps ..that was perfect!...My buddy called me up to shoot pool 2nite..I passed. Even tho here in San Diego you cant smoke in bars....You still have to run the gauntlet! Maybe in a week or 2...and maybe just for a beer and a game. Like you did, baby steps sounds like a safe way to reintroduce ourselves back into society as non-smokers. Good job and...nice meter! double digits!!! Awesome post Kait! I'm really impressed by your insight and your fortitude in saying no to really good friends. It's not going to be forever, but for now, you are a new born, and protecting newborns is paramount! Congratulations, and I hope you enjoyed your evening with your daughter. I'm so happy for you Kaitilina! Don't you feel proud that you made the right decision? I do understand about those terrific bonding times with the girlfriends! I've not yet had to face that situation but hearing how you handled it will give me a heads up! Be very proud of yourself! Great post and great job Kait - you did sooooooooo well! And one day again, you will be sitting up drinking wine and solving all the world's problems...you just won't have a cigarette in your hand.
