Hi everyone, Well I have managed to avoid this forum. All my clothes were getting real tight but what the hey. I have good genes and I chase after 2 kids all day. Yes, I have never worried about weight. I never realize how much smoking suppressed your appetite. My scale broke a couple months ago. About the time pants were getting really uncomfortable. I would assume I am at the weight I was after having my 2nd kid. OUCH...That took 8months to get off( with smoking) The real blow was going to buy large tops and a size 10 pants....May not sound like much, but consider I wore a 4. So the new year is here. Yes it is winter, but I have 6 months until bathing suit season. Perhaps I need a little help with the whole eating right and exercise thing. No, alot of help. I will be sure to come around often. As of today I would say my weight was 155 my goal is 128. what I was before I quit... hi everyone. I have not been here for a week or so. Windy awsome job. I don't do calorie count. I am just tryin to eat healthy, and tryin to get some exercise in. I do ok on food, but the sweets are still getting me. I have been pulling my son in his new wagon, and increased dance party to 3 times a week. For 20min. I am hoping to have that up 30min, 5time a week soon.Baby steps. Hubby's b-day threw me off for sweet stuff. However I did break out the bycicle with babe attached this weekend. Scale still broken, but I can pull skinny jeans up. So that is a good sign. I have not even been able to get them up in 2 months. Still hoping by june I can button them. Whew I got a lot of work to do.. I'm excited that there are so many people here, we can definitely motivate eachother! Now someone give me a swift kick in the a** so that I get in my car and go to the gym. 1205 calories today, but will probably have one more small snack before bed. Hey Windy, those are exactly my stats. I started at 159 (after the 11 lbs I gained after quitting). My goal is 135, too. I have lost 7 lbs so far. Its funny how when I was 130 I thought I was a cow, now that weight is an absolute dream of mine! Live and learn. Stuffed tonite on frozen California pizza kitchen, 1 serving 290 calories. Of course I had 2 servings for dinner. Brought me up to 1400 calories for the day. No exercise to speak of. You're all doing so well with exercise, why can't I be motivated? Hey everyone, sorry I haven' been posting my calories. Not today either. Ate like a piggie yesterday, then after dinner felt really yucky. Turns out I was getting the flu. Was sick all nite long, and most of today. Just ate a half bagel, so we'll see how that goes. The good thing is I lost like 3 lbs last nite. How is that even possible? Kaiti, YOU were the one that cleaned the supermarket out! I've been trying for a week to get some paninis, and they are completely wiped out every time I go! I guess they're on sale everywhere. I may do that soon, we just bought a freezer for the basement. Yeah Windy, they're all putting me to shame, too. Of course yesterday I was sick as a dog, and tonite I pushed it and went out for chinese. I guess it was only a 24 hour bug, which means by tomorrow I'll be back up in pounds. I was thinking the whole time I was sick, I wonder how much I'll lose? I'm a sick puppy. I haven't been to the gym since Thanksgiving. Ugh. Will somebody please kick me? I just want to be able to drop a pant size. I have good news....my hubby quit smoking yesterday! Wooo hooo! He started Wellbutrin last week, and is doing the gum, too. So far he hasn't bit my head off. nite all, Andrea My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/7/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 217 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,358 Amount Saved: $1030.75 Life Gained: Days: 18 Hrs: 7 Mins: 55 Seconds: 23

Oh Geez Windy, I can't eat a salad unless I have some chicken or cheese in it. Otherwise I'll never fill up. I'm addicted to this deli by my office, they always have lots of grilled veggies in their salads. Chicken, grilled veggies, roasted peppers, etc. and I'm soooo happy! Today I ate 1 granola bar, then a cup of soup and half a turkey sandwich for lunch, and I'm still stuffed. No dinner yet, only at 700 calores. I guess the stomach bug is not completely gone yet. Of course I haven't really lost anything. Bah humbug. Where do you live? My best girlfriend usually kicks my butt, we joined the gym together, but now her hubby joined. She goes with him now. Two days into my hubby's quit, and he's faring well. Sooo happy!
